The Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) reserves a number of furnished accommodation with the SSH especially for its international students. All accommodations are fully furnished and located in several buildings, two on the campus and two very close to the university. The city centre of Rotterdam is a ten to fifteen minute walk.

When can I book a room

Registration is now open for Erasmus University Rotterdam. You can find the Short Stay booking procedure here.

Booking / registration approval dates

After approval you can book an accommodation starting Monday 15 April 2019 at 12pm.  Between 9 April and 15 April you cannot book a room yet, but you can orientate on the different rooms that we offer.

Nice to know: the International Student Barometer (ISB) reports that international EUR students are very satisfied about SSH. Especially about our support! We're very proud of that.

For whom

International bachelor/master students
Students who are enrolled in an international bachelor/master degree programme at the EUR with the intention of obtaining a degree, or other foreign students who temporarily take courses at the EUR (like Summer Courses).

International exchange students
Students who temporarily take courses at the EUR with the intention of having their results recognized by their home universities.

Rental agreement & Rental periods

SSH accommodation reserved for the Erasmus University Rotterdam can be rented for a fixed period only. When you reserve accommodation, you will sign a rental agreement with a maximum length of twelve months. The rent price for these accommodations is all-inclusive. The EUR has determined that the rental period you can apply for equals the length of your study program.

Fixed rental periods:

15 August – 31 December
15 August – 31 January
15 August - 14 August

How to apply

First you need to register for ‘reserved accommodation’ on this website. Your university will receive a notification once you have completed your registration. Your university will review your registration and give approval if it is correct. After approval by your university, you can log in to My SSH and reserve an accommodation. In order to finalize your reservation, you will be asked to make the first payment.


You will be informed about the key pick up procedure about one month before the start date of your rental agreement.
