If you have any doubts or you need advice, do not hesitate to contact us.
Yes, that is allowed in many cases. We fully understand that it is very exciting to live together with someone for the first time. We therefore offer the possibility of ‘living together as a trial’. You are allowed to sub-lease your room or accommodation for a maximum of twelve months. Always ask permission in advance from the SSH to sub-lease your accommodation. Of course, we assume that living together will work out really well. Then you cancel your rent. However, it is also possible to go back to your old room/accommodation after this twelve month period. If you live in a ‘Short Stay’, you are not allowed to sub-lease your accommodation. Read more about sub-leasing.
