The small-scale student complex ‘Robert Baelde’ is located at the Robert Baeldestraat in the heart of the district of Kralingen and next to the largest student association in Rotterdam. The complex only accommodates international students at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. Since the metro station is just around the corner, you can literally go in all directions from this residence location.
The building has four floors with two-room units and three-room units. You share a kitchen, bathroom and a separate toilet. On the fourth floor there is a laundry room with two washing machines and two tumble dryers where you can do your laundry. Behind the building there is a large lockable bicycle shed.
The 100 furnished rooms are fully equipped with a bed, desk and office chair, wardrobe and lamps. You can therefore move in with a minimum of fuss. The average surface area of a room is between 12 m² and 18 m².

With regard to the Short Stay accommodations, your educational institution must have reserved a room for you.
The campus contract does not apply to the Short Stay accommodations.
There is camera surveillance at the entrance. With a view to the protection of the privacy of the occupants and visitors, the SSH has drawn up the protocol camera surveillance.

If you are going to study at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, you can only reserve a studio via the website of the SSH after an approval by the educational institution. Register for 'Short Stay accommodation'.
