Receiving a package at your home address
If you order something on-line, or your family wants to send over a package to your Dutch Short Stay address, it should be addressed to your Short Stay address. We cannot receive packages at our office.

How does it work?
The mailman will ring your doorbell to offer you the package. If you are not at home, the mailman will leave a message in your mailbox (in Dutch) that he has been at your door and that he will offer the package again the next day. If you are again not at home, there are a few options, depending on the mail delivery company:
- The package is taken to the nearest post office. The mailman will leave a note telling you this. The address of the nearest post office is stated on this note. You can pick up the package yourself during office hours. Bring ID.
- The package is left with one of your neighbours. The mailman will leave a message in your mailbox to tell you this. The address of the neighbour is stated on the note.

If you have trouble reading the Dutch notes, do not hesitate to contact us. We are happy to help you!

Receiving mail after departure
The national Post, TNT Postoffers a special mail service. When you move out, then can forward you mail to your new address. This service is called “doorzendservice”. You can check at the nearest branche of the Postkantoor (post office) for more info. Post offices offer a paper version of this service. Unfortunately, the website of TNT Post offers no information in English.

Mail that is sent to your apartment after your departure will be sent back to the sender by Short Stay.
