Although we do our best to be of service to you, you may well not be wholly satisfied. The maintenance of your accommodation may be a cause for complaint, or perhaps other occupants are a nuisance. Or you may feel that you have been unjustly treated by one of the staff.
Complaint or request for repair?
SSH distinguishes between complaints and requests for repair. Do you have a request for repair or do you want to report missing or broken inventory? Please report your request via your personal page on our website. Log in and go to 'service request'.
What should you do if you have a complaint?
If you are not satisfied, please let us know. Since as far as we are concerned each complaint is one too many, we will do our utmost to redress whatever is bothering you. So, don't hesitate to let us know. All your complaints may be addressed to SSH via info@sshxl.nl. Your complaint will then be redirected to the appropriate department. Our aim is to come to a solution together, so within 5 days you will receive either a mail or a letter communicating the handling of your complaint, or an assessment of how long it will take to handle it.
Disturbance
In cases involving disturbance by fellow housemates, we would request you to discuss the issue with those involved, and try to arrive at a solution together. It is only if you don't succeed that you should call in the help of SSH.
Not in agreement with the way your complaint was handled?
There are occasions when an agreement cannot be reached. You may find that your complaint has not been adequately dealt with, or perhaps you disagree with the solution proposed by SSH. In such cases you can always go to an independent authority.
You could consult the SSH Dispute Commission. If necessary you could always go to court if you disagree with how the SSH has handled the situation.
