To meet the ever growing demand of accommodation, SSH also rents out and manages several apartments and houses that are not SSH property.

1. Accommodation of private home owners
1.1 short stay mediates
Accommodation of private house owners are not property of the SSH. Short Stay mediates in furnished accommodation of private house owners in the Utrecht area. The selection of privately owned accommodation is very diverse. It ranges from an attic room in the landlord’s house, to student houses with other foreign or Dutch guests, to private apartments. These accommodations are furnished and fitted by the home owners.

SSH Short Stay only mediates for this type of accommodation. The rental agreement will be arranged directly between the house owner and the tenant. Every landlord has/her his own conditions. For example most of the private house owners will charge a one month’s rent deposit. 1.2 short stay manages 
SSH Short Stay also manages apartments and houses of private home owners. These are self contained accommodations. Your will sign a short stay housing agreement with SSH Short Stay.

2. Houses from the housing corporations and municipality of Utrecht
SSH temporarily manages several buildings and apartments for the Utrecht municipality and for several Utrecht housing corporations in the Utrecht area. The areas where these buildings are located are areas that are being (re)developed.  The houses will eventually be either demolished or renovated. The accommodations are fitted and furnished by Short Stay.
