Trouble shooting
You really don’t have to be a whiz kid to use internet, but you do have to take the right steps. You will be able to solve the majority of the problems yourself. If you have problems with your internet check the following files:

If you are not able to solve the problem yourself, check with your flat mates!

If these measures have no effect, you can send an e-mail to the helpdesk of your complex. Don't forget to state your name, address and the outlet number that is on the casing of your internet connection on the wall. They will then check whether there is a problem with the signal. Check the list below, if you have serious problems with your internet:

• You will be disconnected from the network. Depending on the gravity and scope of the abuse, disconnection may vary from a week to a permanent severance.
• If there is a question of abuse as specified in the general users conditions, you will not be re-connected until you have paid the sum of € 200,- for re-connection charges
• You will be held liable for all costs resulting from reprehensible behaviour on the SSH-network. This will include all costs incurred for legal aid in both civil and criminal legal procedures

Cut off. What now?
Most of our buildings have their own 'abuse group' keeping an eye on the network. An 'abuse group' is formed by the occupants of the complex involved. If they determine that you have (un)intentionally abused the network, they will first disconnect you and then put you in quarantine. This means it will not be possible for you to use the internet.
