Arrival
On arrival you will need to pass by our office to sign the contract and collect the keys to your room/apartment.

Early a rrival
Do you want to arrive before the commencement date of your reservation? E-mail Short Stay and check your options!

Arrival outside office hours 
If you arrive outside office hours and wish to collect the keys, please inform SSH Short Stay at the latest one week in advance. Please state the date and time of your arrival in your mail. The housing officer will then arrange for someone to hand over the keys at the agreed time. You can also ask a friend to pick up the keys for you. Read more

This being  the case, you can come to our office to sign the contract on the following working day. However, if you are to arrive outside office hours, make sure to pay the required sum in advance and send us proof of payment by E-mail. 

Extra info for Leeuwarden Short Stay guests. 
Stenden University Hotel cooperates with SSH Short Stay and kindly offers the possibility to check in at a Stenden Hotel room at a reduced rate to last-minute Short Stay guests that arrive outside office hours. E-mail us for more info!

Keys  
SSH Short Stay provides the keys to your room. It is therefore strictly prohibited to copy any of the keys issued to you. In case there is a need for additional keys (either because they have been lost, or perhaps forgotten in your home country) you will have to pay to receive another set of keys. Contact your housing officer!

Don't forget to inform the housing officer of your arrival date by E-mail.  

Contract
The tenancy commences at 14.00 h. on the first day of the rental agreement.

Registering with local authorities
To register with the local authorities you will need to bring your ID and a copy of your rental agreement. More info
